Andrew Chang

Andrew Chang is a senior at Moorestown High School. He is his school’s 2023 elected Class Secretary and serves as an officer for his school’s Math Team. This past summer, Andrew studied biomedical engineering at Brown University, where he designed and proposed a novel vascular graft in replacement of a heart artery. At Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth, Andrew took an introductory computer science course, which has helped him for the past four years as part of his high school’s FIRST Robotics Competition team as a programmer. In his free time, Andrew trains his programming skills on BinarySearch and studies machine learning independently. Andrew also participated in University of Pennsylvania’s summer computer graphics program where he learned human anatomy and its applications in 3D modeling. Outside of STEM, Andrew practices piano and has performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as played violin with the Young Musicians Debut Orchestra for the past two years. In the future, Andrew hopes to learn more about computer science and its applications.
