Anna Park
2025 Scholar
Anna Park is a junior at the Academy of the Holy Angels. Following her interest in biopsychology, she published a research paper on the Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder and its effect on Suicide and was able to attend numerous international conferences, including the Harvard Science Research Conference. In 2024, she was awarded a bronze medal at the Youth International Science Fair. She has also completed an internship with Medical Immersion Summer Academy in California where she obtained numerous certifications including CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, Teen Mental Health First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens. She is also contributing to her community as she volunteers and assists a physical therapist to help children who are ill or disabled at the Children's Specialized Hospital in New Jersey. Anna is currently researching on an unknown gene, MATCAP1, in London and hopes to promote more about biopsychology in the future.
