Annabel Yin is a junior at Ridge High School. After taking a behavioral neuroscience course at the Harvard Pre-College Program, she has discovered her interest in neurobiology and seeks to conduct research in the field in the near future. Previously, she attended Johns Hopkins University's CTY summer residential program to learn about probability and game theory. Since an early age, she has been interested in computer science, learning programming languages such as Python, Java, HTML, and CSS. She now enjoys participating in hackathons. Outside of STEM, Annabel is an active member of her school community as secretary of the Model United Nations, an editor of the yearbook, and communications officer of the Operation Smile Club. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, volunteering at her local animal shelter, and practicing violin and piano. Annabel aspires to continue to study neuroscience in college and in her career.
