Arnav Mohanty

Arnav Mohanty is a senior at North Brunswick Township High School. As the president of his school's National Honor Society and co-founder/co-president of his school's Science National Honor Society, he has encouraged students' participation in STEM-related activities. Arnav participated in Rutgers's Waksman Student Scholars Program, working on isolating DNA inserts from Landoltia punctata, and bringing the same research to the students in his school so they may learn the process of research. Outside of STEM, he seeks to delve into the realm of politics/public policy by participating as the Vice President of his Model UN team. Arnav hopes to become a physician and draw others towards the STEM field.
