Aryan Garg
2025 Scholar
Aryan Garg is a senior at the Woodbridge Academy Magnet School. His main interests lie in the field of neuroscience, and he looks forward to studying behavioral economics in the future. He has conducted research on the link between acetylcholine and mice behavior, as well as the use of single-cell RNA sequence analysis to identify characteristic gene clusters of Alzheimer's disease in mice. He has presented his findings in multiple state science fairs, receiving awards at the North Jersey STEM Fair and advancing to the national Junior Science and Humanities Symposium for his poster presentation. Aside from research, he spends his weekends in nursing homes, hosting interactive dance classes as a part of his work with Dance for Dementia. Through his weekly dance sessions, as well as his research on the amyloid-beta peptides of Alzheimer's disease, he hopes to slowly contribute to our growing knowledge of dementia. In his free time, he also enjoys making burritos and bowls as an employee at Chipotle.
