Cole DuHaime
Cole DuHaime is a senior at the Academy for Information Technology. As the vice president of his school’s National Honor Society, he leads peer tutoring programs and fundraises for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. He is the student representative to the AIT Business Advisory Board, is on the class council Executive Board, and is the co-head of the TEDx@UCVTS Public Relations committee. He has qualified for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference twice, and was recognized in the Journal of Future Economists by the Federal Reserve Bank of NY after writing with a team about the disproportionate impacts of climate change on low-income communities in Union County, NJ. He has also written two papers published in the Journal of Student Research. Cole participated in the Columbia University high school summer course “Big Data, Machine Learning, and their Real-World Applications,” in which he learned to process data and train machine learning algorithms. He has volunteered for several campaigns and has fundraised for Relay for Life. Cole has earned the Seal of Biliteracy in French, and volunteers at a French summer camp. In the future, Cole hopes to conduct research in endocrinology.
