Ian Grenda
Ian Grenda is a junior at Delbarton School in Morristown. Ian has a strong interest in STEM, and he loves to explore the different branches of science. In partnership with many of his students at school, he conducts a number of procedures in the laboratory. He is the leader of the Chemistry Club and the Research and Science Club at Delbarton. He is also a regional director for the Historia Project, an organization aimed at teaching students about the benefits of STEM. The group visits different venues and introduces STEM to kids of all ages. Through his recent internship at Benitec Biopharma Inc., Ian worked with scientists doing cancer research. He learned about the BB-301 Drug that was recently approved by the FDA for clinical trials and analyzed Benitec's batch records. Outside of STEM, Ian plays sports, including baseball and soccer. He plays the clarinet in the Delbarton Orchestra and was a Regional Band Representative in 2021.
