Kevin Jin

Kevin Jin is a senior at Delbarton School. He has conducted research on the contributing factors and potential treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease, receiving recognition at the Terra North Jersey Science Fair and New Jersey Academy of Sciences. As a USA Biology Olympiad Semifinalist and USA Mathematics Olympiad Qualifier, Kevin has led his school’s Research in Science Club for the past three years, organizing trivia tournaments, guest speaker events, and the school science fair. He was also chosen to represent his school at the 41st New Jersey Governor's School in the Sciences. Kevin’s interests in STEM mainly lie in biology, specifically in neuroscience. In the future, he would like to continue investigating cures for diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Outside of school, Kevin serves as a co-president for the Historia Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading the history of science. He enjoys playing the piano and reading in his free time.
