Mary Okolla is a master's student in Cybersecurity at Rowan University. Recognized for her hard work, she became a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. Mary is actively involved in the Cybersecurity and International Clubs, where she has contributed to fostering a collaborative learning environment and advancing the university's commitment to global perspectives in technology. In addition to her leadership roles, Mary serves as a Research Analyst at Rowan University, focusing on Single-Cell RNA (scRNA-seq) sequencing data analysis related to memory formation in the mouse and human brain. This work not only deepens her understanding of bioinformatics but also underscores her ability to apply cybersecurity principles to the protection of sensitive research data. Mary’s future goals involve advancing the field of cybersecurity by developing innovative solutions to protect critical infrastructure and ensuring data privacy in an increasingly interconnected world.
