Noah Hyun

2025 Scholar

Noah Hyun is a senior at Lenape High School. Noah’s background in engineering began with Project Lead The Way’s engineering program. Noah worked as a mechanical/software engineer on MTL Horizon, an underwater robotics team that placed 1st at regionals and 2nd internationally competing in MATE ROV competitions. Aside from STEM, Noah plays the violin as concertmaster of his school orchestra. He is a top violinist in the South Jersey region/state being a 3x South Jersey Orchestra, 2x All-State, and 3x State Teen Arts musician. Noah uses his musical talents as a part of the Global Music Partnership Volunteer Program where he was elected as Director of External Affairs last year and will serve as Director of Cultural Affairs this coming year; he helped head projects which have culminated in over $5,000 of stringed instruments being donated to Kenya and playing at the Kazakhstan Embassy for AAPI month. Noah swims for the Jersey Wahoos and Lenape High School as a state-championship qualifier. This summer, Noah participated as a state senator in the Boys State program. Noah enjoys meeting people, trying foods from different cultures, and is an avid golfer. In the future, Noah wants to study mechanical/aerospace engineering.
