Penelope Herra

Penelope Herra is a junior at Marion P. Thomas Charter High School. Penelope volunteers at Law Day and Earth Day at her high school, where she covers mock trials and emphasizes the importance of keeping her school clean. Penelope has been recognized as a leader in her cosmetology club, student of the month and top student in her STEM classes. Penelope is currently an Explorer at the Newark Museum Of Art (NMOA) where she completed a marketing internship, conducts educational tours and volunteered on community days. Penelope has a strong interest in biopsychology, where her interests were rooted in her early days of true crime podcasts. Outside of STEM, Penelope enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, playing video games and listening to music.
