Prisha Malhotra

Prisha Malhotra is a senior at McNair Academic High School. As president of her school’s cybersecurity club and vice president of the Epsilon Math Team she has organized numerous activities and lessons to share STEM education with the rest of the student body. Within research, her main interests lie in the uses and impacts of technology. Prisha was named a Regeneron ISEF Finalist in 2024, for her research on the impact of gender on relapse in social media addiction. She was also named a 3rd place winner in Princeton University’s IgniteStem Challenge, for her team’s prototype of a multifunctional washing machine to assist elders with dementia, and won a bronze medal in the Blissful Coding Club and Microsoft Pitch Competition for her idea of a using gamification to help bring children better understand how to prevent climate change. Outside of STEM, Prisha is also an active volunteer. As the founder of the Jersey City Chapter of PURE Youth, an international nonprofit organization, she has worked relentlessly to fundraise and advocate for quality education in marginalized communities, such as India and Kenya. She also enjoys photography and reading poetry, and hopes to pursue a career in financial technology.
