Rachel Sun

Rachel Sun is a PharmD/PhD student part of the Honors College at Rutgers University – Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and Joint Graduate Program in Toxicology. She is currently working on research in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, investigating therapeutic targeted delivery of mRNA for pulmonary diseases. Rachel is also a pharmacy intern at Walgreens, helping with medication counseling and proper patient care. She is a member of the Society of Toxicology, a professional organization of scientists dedicated to advance science and the impact of toxicology. In her past mentorship, Rachel has contributed to student mentoring at Rutgers’ high school education program (THED), the pharmacy school, and in the research lab. In the future, she aims to join an interdisciplinary healthcare team to offer therapeutic treatments for the immunocompromised and autoimmune populations.
