Sanjay Ravishankar

Sanjay Ravishankar is a senior at the Edison Academy Magnet School. As someone who loves the engineering aspect of STEM, he has served on the councils of his school's Computer Science Club and Science Olympiad to participate in invitational competitions and organize informatics events for middle and high schoolers. Sanjay also has a passion for using his skills to help others, serving as the president of his school's National Honor Society and developing an app that may be implemented nationally to digitize his volunteering organization’s records. He has worked on research concerning robotics for civil engineering applications at New Jersey Institute of Technology along with digital VLSI design through the MIT BeaverWorks Summer Institute, having received recognition as an MIT THINK Scholars semifinalist and Rutgers MGM Symposium award winner. Sanjay is interested in helping others ignite a spark for STEM and develop themselves professionally by using technology to reduce barriers to quality education.
