Sanjushree Bastia

Sanjushree Bastia is a senior at Dwight Morrow High School. She has a passion for advocacy and helping others as shown by the fact that she is the co-founder of South Asian Student Association and Class Co-President. She is also part of the New Jersey Arts Education Youth Council and strives to help make both science and arts available to a broader group of people. As the only woman on her school's robotics team, Sanjushree wants to help create a more welcoming environment for women to enter in and pursue stem fields. In the future, Sanjushree wants to be an aerospace engineer and help make further advancements in space exploration.
