Yash Pathak

Yash Pathak is a senior at Woodbridge Academy Magnet School for Allied Health & Biomedical Sciences. As the captain of the cadet program at the Milltown Rescue Squad, Inc., he oversees the operations, training, and coordination of over 20 cadets from Middlesex County. To broaden his community outreach, he co-founded Project Imagineering, a non-profit summer camp introducing STEM to elementary school students in central New Jersey. He also tutors high schoolers and adults as they prepare for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination. Yash's research interests focus on Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery at Cooper University Hospital, as well as Emergency Medicine at The University Hospital of New Jersey. His work has been published in clinical journals, and he presented his findings at the American College of Surgeons Abstract & Case Study Competition in Philadelphia, PA. Outside of research, Yash plays for his school’s varsity soccer team and is a section leader of the EBHS marching band drumline. He aspires to serve as a United States Army Trauma Surgeon in the future.
